Hong Kong in Transition

Editor, Photography, Timelapse, Video

This timelapse was photographed from The Peak in Hong Kong on a cloudy evening with hoards of tourists around. Sometimes it can be a bit tough with so many around but I staked out a spot early and carefully set up my gear. Anticipation is what made this shoot work. I setup in a spot where I could easily keep my camera and tripod from being bumped. I was happy with the over 2000 stills I shot and was excited to edit since I had never done one before. This is what I love about visual arts, there’s always a new exciting challenge.

Specs: Shot on a Canon 550D/T2i using an intervalometer set to take photos every 2 minutes using a Canon 17-55mm EFS lens and color correction with Lightroom and Magic Bullet in FCP. Song is “Get up…Carmen” by Waldeck.
